Dynamic Rope Arts & Movement Assembly (DRAMA!) is an artistic retreat in Toronto, Canada, dedicated to advancing rope bondage and shibari as performance and art. Each year the retreat brings together a curated group of 30-40 dedicated artists to form an intentional, exploratory space designed to push the boundaries of rope as an artsitic and creative medium.

The retreat culminates in TIFS — the Toronto International Festival for Shibari — a three-night performance festival showcasing some of the most compelling rope bondage performances from around the world. Participants in The Green Room are invited to share their work on this stage.

DRAMA! is a collaboratively cultivated space, shaped by its attendees. Each day blends workshops led by experts in adjacent disciplines, participant skill-shares, rehearsal and feedback sessions, and unstructured time to foster collaboration and artistic growth.
